Deputy Chief Minister, Dr Nirmal Singh said that constituency is not a unit of development in the power sector. The construction 10MVA, 33/11 KV Receiving station at Cherpora has been taken up under REC loan scheme to improve the power supply and Rs 56.03 lacs have been utilized.Replying to calling attention notice by MLA Shangus, Gulzar Ahmad Wani in Legislative Assembly here today, the Deputy Chief Minister informed the House that the work of Control Room building is completed upto slab level, 33 KV line erection completed 80 percent, construction of approach road completed 70 percent, Earth Mate completed, construction of 33 KV ODY equipment blocks completed and 33 KV ODY equipments procured.
