District Development Commissioner Baramulla today held a public Darbar in the premises of ITI  Pattan to discuss and redress various problems faced by the local population.The Sectoral officers and civil society Members, Panchs and Sarpanchs, Political Activists and large number of people participated in the Darbar.The people demanded removal of encroachments from flood channels and Khacharai land, shifting of Sumo Adda from Sub District Hospital Pattan and providing water tankers to areas facing water scarcity. There was also a demand for providing advance Ration and un-interrupted power supply in view of ensuing holy month of Muharam. The civil society members brought into notice the issues of incomplete developmental projects before the administration.The officers patiently listened to all the grievances and assured people of their disposal on priority basis.Additional Deputy Commissioner, Joint Director Planning, SDM Pattan, ADC and all District and Sectoral officers were present on this occasion.
