Former PCC President & Former Minister Peerzada Mohd Syed and Senior Congress Leader &  Former Minister Taj Mohi U Din accompanied by Spokesperson Farooq Andrabi, Secretary PCC Abid Kashmiri and other Congress Leaders visited agitating Daily Wagers working in different departments, at Pratap Park, Srinagar who are on protest for several weeks, to press  their genuine  demand for regularization.Peerzada Mohd Syed and Taj Mohi U Din met the agitating Daily Wagers and spent some time with them. Both the leaders felt disappointed to see the pathetic condition of Daily Wagers and expressed solidarity with them.

Terming the demand of Daily Wagers for regularization as most genuine, Congress Leaders castigated PDP BJP for maintaining its indifferent attitude towards agitating Daily Wagers, NYC Volunteers, ITI, Need Basis Casual Labours. They said   Coalition Govt led by PDP BJP has brought miseries to the people in all the three regions.Accusing   Coalition Govt for not paying heed towards the genuine demand of Daily Wagers, they said how long Coalition Govt would maintain   silence over the genuine issue confronting people across the State; it (Coalition Govt) will have answer to the people.Congress Leaders told the agitating Daily Wagers that  Congress Party would continue to fight with the Coalition Govt both in the Legislature and outside for resolution of the issues confronting them (Daily Wagers).

Assuring   Congress Party’s full support to Daily Wagers and other agitating employee working in different departments, they said Congress Party would launch a campaign against the wrong policies of Coalition Govt and would not allow it (Coalition Govt) to ignore the genuine demands of people.

Expressing serious concern over the functioning of  State Legislature both  (Peerzada Mohd Syed & Taj Mohiuddin) stated that PDP  BJP Coaltion  is tactfully trying  to curb the Opposition by not allowing them to raise the issues of greater public importance. (KNS)
