The Minister for Rural Development and Panchayat Raj, Ali Mohammad Sagar today visited the shrine of Hazrat Sultan-ul-Arifeen, Sheikh Hamzah Makhdoomi Sahib (RA) and took stock of the arrangements being made for the forth coming Urs Mubarak commencing from December 15, 2013.The Minister interacted with officer bearers of Muslim Waqf Board and district administration and sought details about the arrangements made for smooth and peaceful conduct of Urs Mubarak.Later, the Minister presided over an officers meeting convened to review the arrangements made for the purpose.The Minister directed for extending all basic facilities to devotees expected throng the shrine which include adequate drinking water and power supply, transport facilities, medicare besides cleanliness in and around the shrine.The Minister asked the transport authorities to ensure adequate transport facilities for the devotees during odd hours so that the people visiting the shrine would safely reach to their respective destinations.
