Vikar lays foundation stone of High school Amkote

Minister of State for Technical Education (Independent charge), Power, CAPD, RDD and Information, Vikar Rasool Wani today laid a foundation stone of High School Building here  at Village  Amkote.The School building being constructed by PWD department would be  completed at a cost of  about 40 lakhs.Addressing a huge public gathering after foundation stone laying ceremony, the Minister said that government was committed to extend  education facilities to every nook and corner of the state to enable  youth to of remote and backward areas  to get  education.Describing the students as the pillars of the nation and custodian of the civilization, he called on them to    translate the  dreams  of their parents into reality by working hard.The Minister announced  2 transformers for village Thachi, 35 electric poles for Kanchra and 1 water tank for Amkoot. AEE, PWD Vaid Singh, AEE PHE Nasir, AEE PDD Ramlal, Tehsildar Banihal  Dr Usman,  SDPO Banihal and other district and sectoral officers of the Ramban district, Sarpanches, panches , other dignitaries , besides  a huge gathering comprising of men, women and prominent persons were present on the occasion.
