A meeting of District Level Task Force Committee was held at Doda under the chairmanship of District Development Commissioner Doda to verify / interview the applicants under Prime Ministers Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP). The verification / interview was conducted for the candidates who had applied for loan under PMEGP in DIC Doda as well as Khadi Village Industries Board (KVIB) Doda.
The revised target of the PMEGP for DIC Doda was physical 36 and financial Rs 43.92 lakh as margin money against which DIC has received 52 applications out of which 36 were found genuine by the DLPFC after their complete verification. Similarly, the revised target of PMEGP for KVIB was 30 against which 48 applications were received out of which 41 candidates were selected for availing loan facility after verification / interview by the DLTFC with a financial target of Rs. 60.35 lakh as margin money. A total of 77 candidates of the district were selected under the said scheme in both DIC as well as KVIB.
