Led by Talab Tillo Mandal President Ayodhya Gupta, hundreds of BJP activists held a massive protest at Canal Road against the PDD for imposing unscheduled cuts of electricity. They were carrying placards and raising slogans against the department.Ayodhya Gupta, while making a scathing attack on PDD, said that the people are made to suffer on account of the power cuts imposed by department. In these days, when the examinations of the students are approaching near, they have to devote more time towards studies. These students are busy in tuitions etc. in morning and during day time they have to attend their educational institutions. It is only during evening hours that they get time to study at home but due to unscheduled power cuts they are feeling helpless. Every family cannot afford inverters or other related items and it is only regular supply of electricity which can be helpful to them.
Ayodhya Gupta further said that these power cuts also create problems for housewives, patients, children and aged people.
