Prasad visits slain cop’s residence

The Director General of Police (DGP), Ashok Prasad, along with ADGP Co-ordination, P.L Gupta and other senior officers visited Saidpora village Uri to pay condolences to the family of Sub Inspector, late Syed Shabir Ahmad, who was killed in the militant attack at Chadoora on Dec, 02, 2013.The DGP expressed his solidarity with the bereaved family and assured that J&K Police is with them in this hour of grief.People of the area expressed their resentment over the incident and said that people of J&K are with the J&K Police.DIG North Kashmir, Mr. J.P Singh, AIG Personnel PHQ, Mr. Gh Hassan Bhat, SSP Baramulla, Mr. Zubair Ahmad and other police officers accompanied the DGP.
