District Level Review Committee (DLRC) meeting for June, 2015 quarter was held today under the chairmanship of DDC Rajouri., Shabir Ahmed Bhat. The meeting was attended by Santosh Kumar LDO from RBI, Des Raj DDM NABARD, Senior Officers from District Administration and Bankers.During the meeting LDM, Anoop Bhat gave a brief about the achievement of banks during the 1st Quarter of financial year 2015-16 i.e., June, 2015. Deposit of District rose from Rs.2093.81 crore to Rs.2418.98 crore registering a growth of 15.53% while advances grew from Rs.520.43 crore to Rs.631.52 crore registering a growth of 21.34%.
A target of Rs. 331.78 crore has been set for priority sector lending for the financial year 2015-16 under the Annual Credit Plan and achievement as on end June 2015 stood at Rs.42.85 crore out of which Rs 7.94 crore was disbursed under Agriculture sector, Rs 30.45 crore under micro and small enterprise, Rs.0.16 crore under education loan sector, Rs 1.28 crore under housing sector and Rs. 3.02 crore under other sectors.DDC Shabir Ahmed Bhatt while reviewing performance of Banks/ Agencies directed the concerned to improve CD Ratio by lending liberally and finding additional avenues for lending within the present scenario and infrastructure.
He directed Banks and concerned departments to organize awareness camps to popularize Government Sponsored Schemes, so that youth of the area can benefit from employment generation programmes. DDC Rajouri stressed the need to sanction and disburse KCC on priority basis so that farmers in the district could benefit from schemes tailor made for improving their livelihood and foster prosperity in rural India. DDC Rajouri directed Agriculture Department and Banks to provide KCC to every farmer and ensure speedy disposal of cases with no pendency. DDC expressed satisfaction on successful implementation of EBT (Electronic Benefit Scheme) and asked the concerned to make the scheme a success for which District Rajouri has been selected along with some other districts.
