Punjab Revenue and Rehabilitation, New & Renewable Energy, Information & Public Relations Minister Mr Bikram Singh Majithia today said that Aam Aadmi Party leader and Member of Parliament Mr Bhagwant Mann is not aware about the basic democratic values whereas Mr Partap Singh Bajwa is the weakest president of Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee so far. Mr Majithia said this while speaking to media persons at the house of Ludhiana (East) MLA Mr Ranjit Singh Dhillon, here today.

He said that Mr Bhagwant Mann is not aware of the basic democratic values and very childishly is suggesting Chief Minister Mr Parkash Singh Badal to leave politics. He said that Mr Mann should realise that people of Punjab has chosen Mr Parkash Singh Badal to become the Chief Minister of Punjab not once or twice but record five times. While terming Mr Mann's statement as unwanted, Mr Majithia said that whenever finger is pointed on Mr Bhagwant Mann, he himself claims to be elected representative of people, but maybe he forgets that Mr Parkash Singh Badal is also an elected representative. He said that before issuing such childish and frivolous statements, Mr Mann should learn the basic democratic values. He said that day is not far when Aam Aadmi Party will be swiped off from the national political scene because they have failed to fulfil the promises made by them during the Delhi Vidhan Sabha elections.

Taking an aim at PPCC President Mr Partap Singh Bajwa, Mr Majithia said that it is for the first time that the PPCC president is not even allowed to talk openly. He said that Mr Bajwa has failed miserably to garner support of his party leaders and workers. He said that the Congress party's announcement of not letting the Vidhan Sabha to function properly, Mr Majithia said that the Vidhan Sabha came into existence so that issues related to people could be discussed there and not to boycott it.

Commenting on a Congress leader's open announcement at Lalkar Rally held in Tarn Taran few days back, where he said that Liquor, Poppy Husk and other drugs would be openly available if Congress party comes to power, Mr Majithia said that this is the real face of Congress party. He said that the Congress party has always nurtured persons of such thinking whereas Congress General Secretary Mr Rahul Gandhi had tried to misguide the nation by his false claims that 70 percent of Punjabi's are drug addicts.

This clearly shows that Congress party's main aim is to malign the image of Punjabi youth.Earlier in the day, Mr Bikram Singh Majithia visited the office of SOI Zonal Incharge Mr Meetpal Singh Dugri's house in Urban Estate Dugri, house of Youth Akali Dal leader Mr Indermohan Singh Kadian, office of Youth Akali Dal Malwa Zone-3 president Mr Tarsem Singh Bhinder and house of Punjab Revenue Officers Association president Mr Kanwar Narinder Singh. He was accompanied by CM's advisor Mr Maheshinder Singh Grewal, MLA's Mr Manpreet Singh Ayali, Mr SR Kler, Mr Darshan Singh Shivalik, Mayor Mr Harcharan Singh Gohalwaria, former minister Mr Hira Singh Gabria, former MLA Mr Inder Iqbal Singh Atwal, Police Commissioner Mr Paramraj Singh Umra Nangal, Youth Akali Dal leader Mr Parminder Singh Brar, besides others.
