Deputy Commissioner Samba today inaugurated two day District Level Science Exhibition 2015 under Inspire at Samba.The DC inspected the exhibition and appreciated the efforts put in by students and teachers. She asked the teaching staff to motivate children towards science and scientific thinking through such exhibitions so that they can not only become good scientists, doctors, engineers or adopt other profession based on science but also develop a framework for rational thinking and can distinguish between superstition, magic and science.Pertinent to mention here that under Inspire scheme, central government sponsors District Level exhibitions for all the inspire awardees. The scheme provides for early attraction of talent for science, scholarship for higher education and assured opportunity for research careers.
