Senior Pro-freedom leader and Chairman Salvation Movement Zaffer Akbar Bhat today thanked people for observing a complete shutdown against the Court directive banning sale and consumption of beef in Jammu Kashmir.In a statement issued to KNS, Zaffer said that by observing shutdown today, Kashmiris have conveyed message to world successfully that they resist anti-Islamic and anti-freedom movement policies of India and its communal forces besides it will not tolerate interference into religion.“No power on earth can change the rule set by Allah. Allah has made beef Halhal for us so it will remain till the Day of Judgment,” Zaffer said in an issued statement.
Incarcerated Chairman said that Indian and its communal forces are hell bent to impose anti-Islamic and anti-Freedom movement agenda in Kashmir just to justify its illegal occupation, However naïve Kashmiris will not succumb to any pressure and give communal forces of India a biting response.Meanwhile, Salvation condemned house detention party chairman Zaffer Akbar Bhat, Senior Pro-freedom leaders, imposition of uncalled restrictions, use of brute force on peaceful protesters, teargas shelling, arrests and said that such inhuman approach and arbitrary steps could compel people to come out on roads due to which situation can take ugly turn.He urged International human rights watch dogs to take a strong note of the human rights violations being perpetrated by the forces and pressurize Indian government for brining a halt.
