To review the performance of Health sector in Doda, Deputy Commissioner Doda Bhupinder Kumar, today convened a meeting of District Health Society.Chief planning officer Doda, Chief Medical officer Doda, SE PWD Doda, DGM JKPCC Doda, Deputy CMO Doda, BMOs, Doctors and other District officers attended the meeting.Issues regarding incomplete works in sub centres at Dradu, Chakka and Nalthi in Block Bhaderwah and sub centre Kilhotran in Block Gundana were highlighted in the meeting. DC directed the executing agencies viz. JKPCC, PWD and JK Housing Board to complete the work in time.Taking serious note of the delay in starting the civil work by JK Housing Board on Old hospital building of Sub-District Hospital Bhaderwah where a Mother and Child Care Unit centre is to be established.
DC Doda said that the matter will be taken up with the higher authorities to change the executing agencies for time bound completion of the works. Besides the bottlenecks impeding PHC Sartingal, PHC Gundana and PHC Bharat, fencing around District Hospital Doda, at PHC Tantna due to Land dispute and problem of water supply at PHC Gai Dessa were identified and removed by giving directions to the concerned.
DDC directed ensuring implementation of various schemes under Nation Health Mission in letter and spirit.Later, various directions regarding the dissemination of information regarding special summary revision with 1st January 2016 as a qualifying date through health department were issued to CMO Doda. He was asked to deploy the ASHA workers along with BLOs at each polling station to facilitate females for registration during special camps on 20th September and 04th October 2015 besides CMO was directed to display the schedule of summary revision in all waiting halls of the health institutions of the District for the awareness of the general public.
