Militant outfit Hizbul Mujhadeen Thursday while welcoming the joining of three Hurriyat leaders Shabir Ahmed Shah, Nayeem Ahmed Khan and Aga Syed Hassan to Geelani led Hurriyat Conference said that it will be good omen for the ongoing freedom struggle in Kashmir. “This step will not only give life to the freedom movement but will also prove beneficial for the people who sacrificed so much for this Movement,” Hizb Chief Syed Salahuddin in a statement to CNS said and added that he is hopeful in near future whole Muslim Ummah will join hands under a single platform and will safeguard the interest of Muslims in the State.
“At a time when Saffroni powers have been eroding the identity and have been indulging in cultural, religious and social aggression in Kashmir, unity among Muslim leadership has become inevitable to fight these anti-Kashmir elements,” he said.Syed Salahuddin said that the struggle against Indian occupation will continue and it will not allow India to construct ‘great wall’ along ceasefire line and will foil all its designs to divide the two parts of Kashmir for good. “India has been going against the resolutions of UN by constructing great wall along ‘disputed’ Line of Control. Pakistan should activate itself on diplomatic front and should plead the Kashmir Cause at International Forums,” he said. (CNS)
