The Punjab Revenue & Public Relations Minister Bikram Singh Majithia today said that Shiromani Akali Dal was all set to play a significant role in formation of BJP-SAD government in Delhi not only by winning all four seats being contested by party nominees but also through garnering total support of Punjabi community settled in the national capital in other constituencies.Mr. Majithia, who specially drove here last night to attend the marriage ceremony of Manisha,daughter of former Congress MLA Rana KP Singh was interacting informally with the media persons. Mr. Majithia revealed that peeved with roof piercing inflation, rampant corruption and worst ever law & order situation the people of Delhi have made up their mind to install BJP-SAD government as he has been regularly witnessing the upbeat mood of alliance supporters in election rallies and door to door canvassing. He said that the way Punjabi community responded to the call of SAD leadership in Delhi, he was fully convinced of land sliding victory of alliance thereby rooting out the inefficient regime of Shiela Dixit led Congress government. Replying a query, Mr. Majithia ruled out any surprise by Arvind Kejriwal led Aam Aadmi Party and said that the December 8results would tell its standing amongst people.
Majithia said that after getting one MLA elected in Haryana, the SAD under the dynamic leadership of Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Sukhbir Singh Badal and guidance of Chief Minister Mr. Parkash Singh Badal was looking forward to unite the electorate strength of Punjabis settled anywhere in the country to defeat the anti poor and anti farmers Congress party. He said that the SAD was though not contesting any seat in MP, Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan but extending its full support to BJP there. Mr. Majithia pointed out that as per the reports they got from Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chattisgarh also, BJP was all set to win Rajasthan and to retain power in other two states by defeating anti-incumbency factor due to its unparalleled development initiatives undertaken there.
