Kashmiri scholars, writers and poetess on Sunday resolve to set up a consideration of all cultural and literally organizations in Jammu and Kashmir to further the struggle of Kashmiri language and culture.A resolution to this affect was mood at the end of two days annual conference of Adabi Markaz Kamraz at Pahalgam in which over 350 delegates from different parts of state and also daily participated in various sessions. On this occasion prestigious award from AMK were also conferred on various personalities in recognition of their contribution to promote the Kashmiri language.Noted Islamic, Scholar, Preacher, Orator and translator Mulana Showket Hussain Keng on Sunday said that there is no conflict between religion and languages. He said that Nation, Religion and Language are separate human entities.

Speakers while recollecting the history and development   of Kashmiri    language, they said that Kashmiri is strong language with strong cultural base which cannot die. They stress for opening of Kashur radio on pattern of FM.Keng was addressing a galaxy of scholars and writers during award session in Pahalgam on second day of Kashur Conference organised by Adbi Markaz Kamraaz. Referring to life and contribution of many Companions ( Suhaba), Keng said that religion has not conflict with any language, so Islam too has no conflict with any language."I am informing you that Islam has no issues with Kashmiri language, Nation,Religion and Language are different entities" Keng said. Mentions the life of Hadrat Bilal Habshi, Keng said "Hadrat Bilal was never referred as Maki or Madni besides living his life in these two cities.”Bilal was Habshi and he left this world as Hanshi" Keng said.  Elaborating the relation of religion and language,Keng Quoted many events from Life of Prophet Muhmmad(SAW) whereby proving agreeable relation between religion and Islam.

Referring to Salman Farsi's linguistic base, Keng said Farsi was a first translator of Quran and a Persian by language is but Prophet (Saw) used to encourage him. Keng praised the efforts of AMK and it is representatives in Development of Kashmiri language. Noted broadcaster and poet Rafiq Raaz spoke about the history of kashmir langue. He said that Kashmiri is thousand years old and 700 years ago it was on its culmination stage. "Language like Kashmiri having huge supporters and lovers can nerve die"Raaz said.Terming apprehensions about these languages as created and false, Raa said Kashmiri language has no crisis as it has strong base. "The apprehension being expressed by people a about language are false and we need not to get panic"He said. Terming use of languages other than Kashmiri a damage to once individuality, Raaz said that not using once native language can do no harm to language,it is damage one who is evading his language"

He said that Kashmiri language is changing shapes which is part of a journey a language treads. AMK on the occasion presented annual awards to various nominated personalities. This year Khilat-I-Hanfi -was awarded to Dr Shah Faseal as best administrator,Moulana Showket Hussain Keng for disseminating Kashmiri langue in his preachings and Shahid Delnavi.Sangarmal foundation this presented gold medal to Bisma Hamdani who has topped MA Kashmiri exams last year. Noted broadcaster and poet Rafiq Raaz was nominated of this year’s Sharf-I- Kamraz award. Four books were released during the occasion which includes 'Aana ta anhaar' by a cultural activist Parvana Tarzui, 'am tuma doh kut sana gayi' 'phulvan tuir' and cheta gomut chong' by Dildar Ashraf Shah.Earlier a discussion session was held chaired by President AMK Dr Shujaat Bukhari along with Brijnath Betaab, Rafi Masoofi,Nelofer NAZ ,Rafiq Masoodi and Farooq Rafiabadi.

During the session Secretary JKACL Dr Azizi Hajini repeated the demand classical langue status to Kashmiri language. He suggests for yearly frame of targets. Expressing concern over the lack of official support,Hajini said that a Committee was famed but proceedings in the matter are not satisfied"Though the process is time consuming process but Hajini expected that government will discuss it this year.He also demanded the introduction of Kashmiri language as evaluative subject. "Former government approved our proposal of introducing Kashmiri as evaluative subject but file is pending "Hajini said.

General Secretary AMK Muhammad Amin Bhat who carried the proceedings during the conference said that AMK has turned into an international movement know."Our aim is to reach out Kashmir Diaspora are pins the world "Bhat said."We are reconstructing the culture and language to give an identity to an individual" Bhat said.He said AMK is going to organise international Kashmir conference in which Kashmiris from all parts of world will be invited.Noted writer Farooq Nazki suggested opening Kashur radio on pattern of FM radio.

Responding to the suggestions presented during discussion session President AMK Dr Shujaat Bukhari said that establishing of confederation of literary organisation is in process.He said AMK has initiated process of lecture series which needs more dissemination. He also assured revival of zonal committees who can visit schools to verify situation of Kashmiri teaching both in Kashmir and Jammu provinces. Bukhari expressed concern over the growing polarisation in Jammu provinces which has affected language development in province. He also insured establishment of Translation bank and assured that composite dialogue with other language will be initiated in proper way. Bukhari clarified that AMK is not against other languages and cautioned a Language should not be developed at the cost of other language.Bukhari also said that Writers welfare trust will be revived again to help need writers on requisite time. Later Sayed Basharat Bukahri while recollecting his childhood expressed concern over the decaying cultural and linguistic ethos.AMK also pay tribute to Ghulam Muhammad Gamgeen,Amin Kamil,Sayed Raza,Gul Akther,Abdul Gani Miskeen and Sahil Pandithpuri. Later Ateeqa patented vote of thanks to the guests and participants. (KNS)
