Dukhtaran-e-Millat President Syedah Aasiyeh Andrabi has “ridiculed” Indian Lok Sabha speaker Sumitra Mahajan for comparing the election dramas staged in Jammu Kashmir on gun point with the plebiscite. She said that India is not only trying to befool the world community but is surely befooling its own masses by not telling them the truth about Kashmir.In a statement issued to KNS, Andrabi strongly reacted to the assertion made by Sumitra Mahajan in response to the Pakistan’s demand for plebiscite in Jammu and Kashmir. “In no way can elections be compared with plebiscite for which Kashmiri’s have been sacrificing for more than six decades” she said.
She said that the election dramas staged in Jammu Kashmir have no legal standing as the exercise is done on gun point that too for day to day administrative problems. “So called election is a drama staged in presence of millions of Indian soldiers besides people are lured to vote for Sadak Pani and Bijli and not for any political agenda” she said. Syedah Aasiyeh Andrabi added that even so called mainstream politicians also seek votes for development and day to day problems but not for any political agenda. She however said that if India is so confident about the genuineness of elections in Kashmir and claims to be the choice of people then she should not shy away from holding the plebiscite. “If India is so confidant and believes that the Kashmiri people would decide in its favor then why is she shying away from holding a plebiscite why not to do this exercise and solve the problem once for all” she said and observed that India actually know it for certain that it was never and will never ever, in future, be accepted to Kashmiri’s and will have to leave sooner or later. Syedah Aasiyeh Andrabi said that the rhetoric like that of Sumitra Mahajan is nothing but befooling Indian people by hiding the bitter truth of Kashmir from them.Dukhtaran e Millat President further said that Kashmir is a long pending dispute before the world and it needs to be solved as per the wishes and aspirations of the majority of this occupied land through plebiscite.
She said that India has itself promised a plebiscite to Kashmiri’s of which the world through UN stands witness. She said that Pakistan as an honest nation is not only supporting Kashmir cause but is also ready to facilitate the plebiscite and give them a chance of deciding about their future while India is stuck to its illegitimate and illogical stand based on lies. Dukhtaran e Millat President said that Pakistan’s demand for a plebiscite and India’s rejection has once again exposed the world’s so called biggest democracy. “It is the duty of the world bodies to take note of this illegitimate stubbornness of India and press it for the settlement of Kashmir issue” the statement reads.slapping PSA on brother masarat Aalam but sahab is a true face of fascism but such brute tactics can not break the will of the leader like masarat sahab whose entire life is dedicated for the freedom of Kashmir.
