District Development Commissioner (DDC), Bandipora, Sajad Hussain today reviewed the issues relating to District Red Cross Fund.Assistant Commissioner Revenue besides other Sectoral Officers, Sub-Divisional Magistrates and Tehsildars attended the meeting.The meeting was informed that Rs. 2 lakh were disbursed among poor, destitute, other needy and the affected families of various natural calamities in the district during the current year.
Highlighting the importance of Red Cross contribution, the District Development Commissioner impressed upon the officers that they should put in all their efforts for contribution towards the Red Cross fund so that District Red Cross Society gets further strengthened and urged upon people to donate money towards the Red Cross fund.
