With an aim to strictly implement the various decisions taken during the recently held District Development Board meeting and to review the progress made by different departments under District Plan, Deputy commissioner Doda Bhupinder Kumar today convened a meeting of all District officers in the conference hall DC office Doda.While reviewing the sector wise performance of various departments, the DC informed that 75% funds have been released in regular scheme and state share under District Plan and to ensure the judicious utilization of the released funds he directed all the District officers to implement the DDB Decisions in letter and spirit and furnish the action taken report on each of the decision pertaining to their sector within a week’s time .
During the meeting the progress on various issues was reviewed which inter-alia include, the acquisition of land for establishment of TRC at Doda, repair of solid waste management plant at Doda damaged due to floods, Establishment of satellite University campus at Doda,Lift irrigation from Chenab, kandi Canal, up-gradation of pul Doda to Doda Road, Slow Progress on PMGSY Roads, Restoration of NH-244, completion of various under construction school buildings, Establishment of Chenab valley development fund, Construction of Bhagwah-Bijarani defence road, Maintenance and running of cradle boxes at Trungal and Marsoo, Identifying of land for KendriyaVidalaya, Vertical expansion of school buildings, completion of KGBV Buildings and construction of road up to bulandpur. The directions were passed to the concerned departments to take up the work on war footing basis and furnish the weekly report of the progress achieved.
