District Development Commissioner Ramban, Bashir Ahmed Dar today convened meeting for the citizens, in order to have an interaction with representatives of different sections of the society and to get a feedback on public issues and developmental activities.The meeting was attended by representatives of political, social, and religious organizations and Beeper Mandal Ramban .Assistant Commissioner Revenue Dr. Tahir Firdous Dutta, Chief Planning Officer, Parshotam Kumar, Tehsildar Ramban and President Bar Association, Ramban were also present.DDC appreciated the consensus and concern exhibited by representatives towards the betterment and development of the district. He welcomed their collective approach and assured speedy action on all the issues raised during the meeting.
He further informed the representatives that a Complaint cum Grievances Cell shall be established at district headquarter shortly to register the complaints of the public.In the meeting threadbare discussion was held on the issues pertaining to Traffic regulation, provision of adequate Transport on various routes, cleanliness of main township and the development works taken up under PHE, PWD, Health, Municipality, PMGSY, PDD and other core sectors.The representatives present in the meeting also assured the administration of their full cooperation towards achieving socioeconomic development in the district.
