In order to move forward towards total transparent public distribution system, Minister for CAPD and Tribal Affairs Ch. Zulfkar Ali today inspected Ration Stores in Rajouri distrct and pressed upon officials to maintain record or be ready for stern action.Minister inspected Food Store Sunderbani and checked stock position in the store. Minister checked Stock Register of the store, issues and dispatches and also physically verified food grains on ground in the store. "I want to make this department a model of honesty and accountability and people must cooperate with us in this endeavor", Minister said adding that there is no place for corrupt officials in the department.Minister said that the department is closely connected with poor and needy people and these people must be given justice by adopting honest system of distribution of food grains. He said that a change on ground must exist and department officials should ensure proper distribution of ration.
