Board of School Education (BOSE) Kargil conducted an awareness programme related to scholarship schemes here. The programme was presided over by the Chairman J&K BOSE, Prof. Zahoor Ahmad Chatt. Secretary BOSE Veena Pandit, Director Academic Kaniz Fatima, Chief Education Officers Kargil, Zonal Education Officers, Principles and Headmasters of various Institutions were present on the occasion.Prof. Zahoor Ahmad Chatt extended warm welcome to participants and gave a though introduction about the programme and workshop by BOSE. He instructed the participants to keep a close rapport with the BOSE officials and communicate their problems if any.
The Chairman BOSE expressed satisfaction on success of the flagship programmes run by the BOSE in remote areas also.Moreover, a PowerPoint presentation was also shown by Academic Officer BOSE, Dr. Arif Jan. The presentation highlighted different schemes of scholarships, programmes and matter related to the functioning of BOSE particularly NDS and scholarship provided through Centrally Sponsored Schemes. CEO Kargil thanked all the dignitaries and participants for attending the programme.
