ADDC inspects development works in Majalta block

A team of district administration Udhampur led by Additional District Development Commissioner, Mr. Arvind Sharma today visited block Majalata and inspected progress of developmental schemes and projects being executed in the area.During the visit, ADDC inspected Jigwal Water Supply Scheme in panchayat Jaswal,block Majalata and instructed the engineers of PHE department to provide clean and safe drinking water to the people of the area regularly.The ADDC also inspected Dhar to Platter road and ICDS centers during the tour. He directed the concerned officers to provide nutritious food to the children of Anganwari  centres and also maintain cleanliness in and around the premises. He also interacted with the people of the area who expressed satisfaction over the supply from the  water supply scheme.The team also inspected Govt Middle school Platter and instructed the school management to provide quality mid day meals to the students.Deputy Director Planning, Mr. Sham Gupta, AEE PHE, Mr. R.K Mishra, JE PHE Mr. Satish Sharma, SO Planning DRDA,  staff of ADDC office and field functionaries of the block were also present on the occasion.
