Fruit & vegetable grower’s deputation call on Gurezi

Minister of State for Horticulture, PHE Irrigation and Flood Control Nazir Ahmed Gurezi today assured the Fruit and Vegetable Growers cum Dealer Association Jablipura, South Kashmir who called him here, that their genuine demands would be looked into. The Association put forth various demands including depositing premium amount of Rs 5 lakh for allotment of shop in three instalments besides increasing its time period of six months to one and half year. The Association also demanded that the allotment for proposed market for Jablipora be completed within the stipulated time frame.Mr. Gurezi gave them patient hearing, assuring all necessary support in this regard.

Director, Horticulture, Planning and Marketing, Mr. Showkat Ahmed Zargar and other officers of the department were also present on the occasion.
