Punjab To Represent In World Bhangra Competition

The State of Punjab would participate in the International Bhangra Competition called “World Bhangra Competition” to preserve and promote rich cultural heritage and the folk tradition of Punjab worldwide.  Disclosing this here today, Sarwan Singh Phillaur, Tourism and Cultural Affairs Minister Punjab said that there were 7 agencies empanelled with the Punjab Heritage and Tourism Promotion Board out of which two agencies namely Adsyndicate Advertising Pvt. Ltd. And Mx Advertising Pvt. Ltd. have already given presentation of their concepts and proposals regarding the World Bhangra Competition. The selected team would be adjudged the best Bhangra Group and would represent the state in the World Bhangra Competition, said Phillaur.
