Gurezi pays surprise visit to PHE offices

Minister of State for PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control, Nazir Ahmed Gurezi today paid surprise visit to the offices of Chief Engineer, PHE, Jammu, Superintendent Engineer’s office Hydraulic Circle Jammu and Executive Engineer, PHE.The Minister inspected various sections including purchase section, drawing branch, legal section etc in these offices. He directed the officers and officials to work with utmost dedication, maintaining punctuality in all offices, ensuring disposal of cases including providing of water tap connections in a time bound manner.He directed the concerned to gear up their field functionaries and carry out surveys to identify those hamlets and habitations that have not been provided adequate drinking water facilities so far. He also asked them to prepare Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) in this regard and submit the same for necessary approval and sanction.
