Minister for Roads and Buildings and Mechanical Engineering Abdul Majd Wani today called upon unemployed youth to come forward and avail the benefits of schemes launched by the Government to assist them in establishing their own business units.This was stated by the Minister while addressing a gathering after inaugural ceremony of Deepali Creation a multi-brand show room of Bombay dyeing Company at Zubain Bad Sunjwan Road, Jammu.Member Parliament Mr. Madan Lal Sharma was also present on the occasion.The Minister said that not only in our country but globally unemployment remains a challenge, to be tackled through various initiatives. He said setting-up of own income generation ventures is one of these important and effective steps towards solving this problem.Referring to the new show room, Mr. Wani said that Bombay Dyeing product is one of the most respected and trusted brands in the country. He said with the opening of this multi-brand show room, people will get fabrics of whole range of life-styles and home finishing with blissful range under one roof.The Minister wished the budding entrepreneur success in the endeavor.Later, the Minister also visited various areas of the locality and inspected several developmental works being executed by Roads & Buildings Department.The locals of the areas also met the Minister and apprised him of their problems and highlighted various developmental needs. Mr. Wani assured them that their genuine grievances would be taken up at appropriate forums for their early redressal.
