Asiya Naqash visits CD Hospital, Tuberculosis Centre

Minister of State for Health and Social Welfare, Ms. Asiya Naqash today visited the Chest Diseases Hospital and Tuberculosis Centre, Dalgate and reviewed the functioning of the said Hospital and took stock of basic medical facilities being provided to patients by the Government.She visited the ICU and general wards of the hospital and interacted with the patients and their attendants. She also inspected the laboratries and other investigation units of the hospital. During her visit she asked the hospital authorities to equip the hospital with latest diagnostic facilities and other equipments and ensure to provide free treatment and medicines to the patients. She directed the hospital administration to provide better Medicare facilities to the patients.The Minister inspected the renovation and reconstruction work of Infection control centre, C.D. Hospital. She also inspected integrated Pulmonary Function Test laboratory (PFT).During her visit to D.T.C. centre she was informed that the centre has provided free DOT medicines to 297 registered patients.
