Former Union Minister calls on Governor

Acharya Devvrat Governor  met Satpal Ji Maharaj former Union Minister, who called on him at Rajbhawan here today. He congratulated him on becoming the Governor of Himachal Pradesh and wished a successful tenure. Former Ministers of Uttarakhand Shri Narain Singh Rana and Sh Khazaan Singh were also present on the occasion.Acharya Devvrat thanked for the good wishes.Shri Tikender Panwar, Deputy Mayor M C Shimla also called on the Governor at Rajbhawan . 

Governor also met Senior Government officers of Centre and State Governments, Representatives of various Associations, Delegations, Universities and other prominent persons.Prominent among those were Additional Chief Secretaries Dr. Shrikant Baldi, Shri Narendra Chauhan and Shri Tarun Shridhar, Shri R M Johri Principal Accountant General HP, Shri H C Negi Principal Commissioner Income Tax, Shri R R Verma former Chairman HP Public Service Commission, Shri Jagdish Mittal Vice President and Shri S P Bansal Vice Chancellor Maharaja Agrasen University Baddi, Smt. Sudesh G B Singh President War Widow Association besides a delegation of Bharat Swabhiman Nyas headed by Shri Suresh Kumar.
