Chander Parkash Ganga inaugurates various development works at Birpur, Bari Brahmana

Minister for Industries and Commerce, Chander Parkash Ganga today kick started construction work of lanes and drains worth Rs 9 lakh under MGNREGA at lower Birpur besides laying foundation stone of a bore-well at Bari Brahmana to be constructed by Municipal Committee Bari Brahmana.The Minister also took stock of various development works being executed in these areas and asked for expeditious completion of the same.Earlier, the Minister visited main pond at Lower Birpur and directed the concerned authorities to prepare a comprehensive proposal for development of this natural water resource.

While interacting with people, the Minister said that Government is committed to uplift the economic condition of the people. He stressed upon the people to come forward and avail maximum benefits from the state and centrally sponsored schemes to improve their economic standard.BDO and other senior officers of different departments accompanied the Minister during his visit.The BDO apprised the Minister of various development activities being undertaken under MGNREGA. He also briefed him about the progress of drive launched under Clean Green Mission.
