Governor regrets Poonch LoC firing

Governor N.N. Vohra expressed deep regret over the heavy mortar shelling on civilian targets in the Poonch LoC Sector which resulted in injuring and killing several innocent villagers. He conveyed his sympathy to the next of kin of the 5 innocent civilians who lost their lives and wished very early recovery of those who sustained serious injuries.A Raj Bhavan spokesperson disclosed that the Governor discussed these Cease Fire violations with the National Security Advisor, Mr. A.K. Doval, and also spoke to Lt. Gen. D.S. Hooda, Northern Army Commander at Udhampur.
