Let’s value human values.  Love, compassion, humility, kindness, tolerance, mutual trust – all these noble feelings are essential for peaceful coexistence of man with man.  Negative feelings of hatred and jealousy create tension and conflicts only.Sant Nirankari Mandal Chandigarh Parmukh Rev. Mohinder Singh Ji told that it was observed here today by His Holiness Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj Head of the Sant Nirankari Mission in a brief Message to mankind while inaugurating the 66th Annual Nirankari Sant Samagam.  The 3-day Samagam is being attended by lakhs of devotees of the Mission from across the country.  About 4000 delegates from abroad are also participating.

His Holiness said that no doubt man may rightfully claim to have made numerous achievements in the fields of science and technology but his ignorance, his backwardness in the realm of spirituality has only persisted.  Man’s distance from God is keeping him distanced from man also.  Due to the negative tendencies of hatred, jealousy, selfishness, narrow outlook and ego, the human being seems to have lost his real identity.  He is behaving like ferocious beasts rather than a human being.  

Baba Ji said that for peaceful co-existence of mankind, we shall have to value what we call human values.  We shall have to imbibe, promote and strengthen the feelings of love, compassion, tolerance and mutual trust.  We shall have to overcome the negative tendencies of hatred, jealousy, narrow-mindedness and ego. His Holiness recalled that the world observed November 16 as the International Day of Tolerance and the Mission too promoted the message by organizing a Bike Rally in which thousands of men and women from Delhi and Greater Delhi participated.  It was emphasized that tolerance is essential for peaceful co-existence of humanity.Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj said that saints have always been inspiring, guiding and helping man to tread the path of Truth.  Even today devotees have assembled from across the world to emphasize the same message of spiritual enlightenment.  The principal theme of this 66th Annual Samagam is – Let’s Value Human Values, which shall be possible only when we know God, realize His Supreme Entity and unite with Him.  God is, of course, the supreme source of all human values, noble feelings, noble tendencies.  And this is the only way to achieve the man’s happiness here and hereafter.
