Arrangements for I-Day finalized at Kathua

The District Administration Kathua finalized the arrangements for the Independence Day function and decided to hold the main function at District Sports Stadium Kathua.The District Development Commissioner, Ajay Singh Jamwal chaired a high level officers’ meeting here and finalized the   arrangements.

DC Excise, ADDC Kathua Manmohan Singh, ADC Kathua Dr Mushtaq Ahmed, ACR Kathua Atul Gupta, CPO Kathua District officers of different departments, Principals of Government, Private educational institutions were present in the meeting.It was finalized in the meeting that the main function will be held at District Sports Stadium Kathua where the VIP would hoist the national flag and take salute from the march past. Contingents drawn from Police, CRPF, Forest protection Force, NCC both boys and girls and Student platoons from Government and private educational institutions will take part in the march past.A cultural programme based on patriotic theme will be presented on the occasion by the students of various educational institutions.

The DDC impressed upon the Police department to make fool proof security arrangements. He also called upon the officers to complete their assigned duties in advance to day celebrate the national day with   enthusiasm, fervor and gaiety.
