The Chairman of Punjab Scheduled Castes Commission Mr. Rajesh Bagha today said that a case has been registered against Rajinder Pal Singh S/o Kartar Singh, R/o Jalalabad for the fraudulent sale of the land belonging to ‘The Ferozepore Schedule Caste Co-operative Society Limited, Ferozepore’, at Village Marar Kalan Mandi Bariwalaa near railway crossing in Sri Muktsar Sahib.Mr. Bagha said that a person Ashok Mahindra R/o Sri Muktsar Sahib, had lodged a complaint with the commission alleging that a land measuring 52 kanals 18 marlas -3 kanal 18 marla totaling 49 Kanal is under the ownership of ‘The Ferozepore Schedule Caste Co-operative Society Limited, Ferozepore’ at Village Marar Kalan Mandi Bariwalaa, near railway crossing, Tehsil and District Sri Muktsar Sahib. The said that was being cultivated by Raj Rani and her husband Kartar Singh members of Harijan Society. Both are now deceased. But the land was now being sold by their son Rajinder Pal Singh through Agreement and Saledeed. He has until now sold 25-30 acres of land.Mr. Bagha further said that a case was recommended to be registered against Rajinder Pal Singh after conducting a thorough enquiry. A case was subsequently registered against RajinderPal Singh u/s 420/465/467/468/471/120 B and further inquiry is under process.
