Gurezi visits various areas in Tulail
Asks officers to achieve assigned targets in full

The Minister of State for PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control Nazir Ahmad Gurezi today visited various areas of Bandipora district including Budaab, Chackwali, Budgam, Jurnail, Prana Tulail and Kilshay and took stock of pace of work on various on-going developmental schemes in these areas. He also took stock of the problems of the people living in these areas.A team of engineers and officers of the district administration Bandipora accompanied the Minister during his tour.The Minister directed the officers to gear up their field functionaries and speed up the pace of process on all developmental works and achieve the targets in full.He asked them to use funds judiciously and ensure that quality and standard material is used in the construction work.Addressing a series of public gatherings at different places, he said that the Government under the leadership of Mr. Omar Abdullah special focus has been given to improve the socio-economic conditions of the people especially living in hilly and remote areas of the State. He said sufficient funds have been earmarked under various sectors during the current fiscal with the aim to upgrade the infrastructure of vital sectors like health, education and PHE existing in these areas.
