DLRC meeting held at Ganderbal

The District Level Review Committee (DLRC) meeting of Ganderbal district was held today at mini-secretariat Ganderbal under the chairmanship of District Development Commissioner, Ganderbal, Showkat Aijaz Bhat.The Lead District Manager Faizullah Qureshi briefed about the achievements of the banks operating in the district under District Credit Plan 2015-16. The banks have disbursed a total amount of Rs. 82.54 crores for establishment of 4498 units at the end of the first quarter of the financial year 2015-16 registering 17 percent achievement, out of which Rs. 76.11 crores for establishment of 4289 units under priority sector registering achievement of 27 percent and Rs 6.43 crores for establishing of 209 units under non- priority sector registering an achievement of 3 percent. Out of priority sector, Agriculture and allied activities registered 23 percent, MSE 51 percent, Education 3 percent, Housing 1 percent and others 8 percent. CD ratio of the district stands at 70 percent.

The District Development Commissioner stressed upon banks as well as sponsoring agencies to play vital role in solving  unemployment crisis of the district by achieving the set targets under various sectors for setting up income generating units. He also advised the financial institutions to sanction the cases strictly as per the guide lines and in close co-ordination with sponsoring agencies. He advised NABARD and other concerned agencies for timely release of Subsidy/Margin money.CPO Ganderbal, Mukhtar Ahmad Bazaz, Ashok Angural (RBI), DDM NABARD, Zubair Ashraf Wasil, Director RSETI Ganderbal, Altaf H Mir, Cluster Head Ganderbal, Shafat Maqbool Kitab,  all district officers and district  coordinators of all banks operating in the district attended the meeting.
