AIP to hold a sit-in to demand establishment of IIT, IIM in Kashmir

MLA Langate and Awami Ittihaad Party President Engineer Rashid Sunday said a sit-in will be held on August10 in front of Civil Secretariat here at 10 am.“Rashid and colleagues will participate in the sit-in to press for the demand of establishing IIT and IIM etc in Kashmir.Rashid said to fight for the genuine rights of Kashmir and ensure setting up of IIT, IIM, IIMC in Kashmir region a peaceful sit-in would be started before civil Secretariat.He added that Kashmir has constantly been discriminated in terms of developmental paradigms and appealed all religious, socio-political organizations of Valley to get united and in unison to press New Delhi to fulfil genuine demands of people of Kashmir.
