Punjab Revenue & Public Relations Minister Bikram Singh Majithia today said that by stalling Parliament on non issues, Congress has once again exhibited its anti development approach and described this negativity the major reason of this “Once upon a time national party’s” fast plunging relevance on national political scenario. Mr. Majithia was interacting with media after disbursing grants and laying foundation stones of various projects of worth Rs. 1.17 crore in villages like Sarhala, Kadrabad Khurd, Kadrabad, Kotli Malhian and Bathuchak. He pointed out that even after reducing to embarrassing figure of 44 seats in last Lok Sabha election, Congress has been miserably failed in learning from its past misdeeds and anti-people policies. 

Majithia said that under the dynamic leadership of Chief Minister Mr. Parkash Singh Badal and Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Sukhbir Singh Badal, Punjab has emerged as the symbol of communal harmony and was taking rapid strides on the front of overall development with unique initiatives of governance reforms and country’s best investment policy. He said that Chief Minister by holding non stop sangat darshans has shown a new path to whole country that how a government can itself reach to the door steps of its people. He said that the baseless criticism of sangat darshans by congress shows its frustration as people of state had rejected this anti-poor and anti-farmers party from time to time.

Reiterating his firm commitment to make Majitha assembly constituency, an ideal center of overall development, Majithia sought full support from the people to realize this dream. He urged them to take full advantage of state government’s unique initiatives of Saanjh Kendras and fard Kendrasbesides giving their feedbacks at every available forum. He said that to facilitate SC populace the allotment of free residential plots has been handed over to district administration. He said that with availability of surplus power, now the farmers themselves switch of their irrigation pumps.
