DDC Kathua reviews working of revenue dept

District Development Commissioner Kathua, Ajay Singh Jamwal today convened a meeting of Revenue officers and officials here at DC Office Complex. ADC Dr. Mushtaq Ahmed, ACR, SDM Hiranagar, Billawar, Bani, Collector Thein Dam Project Basohli, Tehsildars of District Kathua and other Revenue Officials attended the meeting. In the Meeting, the DDC reviewed the progress of Revenue Department. Threadbare discussions were held on the issues regarding the pendency of PRC cases disposal of court cases, land acquisition cases, notifications issued under Land Acquisition Act, disposal of relief cases, PMGSY cases, status of solid waste management   and progress of NERPAP was also reviewed.

The DDC gave directions to ACR to make roster of periodic meetings of revenue officers and officials at each sub division level. Further directions were passed to Tehsildars to expedite the disposal of cases pending under land acquisition.

Tehsildars were directed to submit the utilization certificates of work done under SDRF. The DDC further directed Tehsildars to maintain record of their tour dairy for its timely submission to higher authorities. Tehsildars were directed to provide monthly status report of Encroachments and also for maintenance of revenue record like Goshwara Jinswar, Girdawri and other revenue record.The DDC laid stress on removal of encroachments and directed Tehsildars to organize Public Camps and make proper roaster of patwaris for field visit. He gave strict instructions for timely disposal of revenue cases and its timely submission to higher authorities.Earlier, the DDC convened a meeting of Collectors for determination of rates of land, under the Land Acquisition Act.
