Developmental works reviewed at Anantnag

Member Parliament Dr. Mehboob Beigh today convened a meeting of officers to review the developmental works in the district. All concerned engineers besides district officers attended the meeting. It was given out in the meeting that the work on various bridges and road projects have been completed while on others it is in full swing. Slow pace of work on Pushwan, Hanji Danter, Lallan bridges was viewed seriously. Executive Officer Municipal Council Anantnag was directed to speed up the project sanctioned under MPLADS.

Superintending Engineers of PHE and R&B were directed to eliminate the bottlenecks for augmentation of Anantnag town water supply scheme so that it can be completed within the stipulated timeframe. Concerned executing agencies were directed to make sure the installation of sign boards under OP CDP/MPLADS as per the guidelines.Concerned officers of PHE, R&B, Forest, CAPD, PDD and Flood Control were directed to be available for public and redress their grievances as soon as possible.
