I-Day arrangements finalized in Doda

In order to finalize arrangements for the ensuing Independence Day celebration in Doda, the Deputy Commissioner Doda, Bhupinder Kumar today convened a meeting of district and sectoral officers.It was decided in the meeting that main function will be held in the Sport Stadium Doda where the VIP will hoist the flag and take salute at the march past by contingents of JKP, IR 5th Bn, CRPF, FPF, NCC and school children.  Besides, the function will start with the Shennai Vadan by the District Information Centre Doda from 7:30 am to 8:30 am on 15-8-2015.The DC impressed upon the officers to put in their best effort for smooth, peaceful and enthusiastic celebration of the National festival.
