Commandant JAKLI calls on Governor

Brigadier Suresh G Chavan, Commandant, J&K Light Infantry Regimental Centre, called on Governor N.N. Vohra, here at the Raj Bhavan today.Brigadier Chavan, who took over recently, briefed the Governor about the JAKLI’s responsibility with regard to recruitments, trainings, operations, provision of Regimental privileges and facilities for officers and men etc.       The Governor lauded the extremely important role which has been played by JAKLI, ever since its establishment, in safeguarding the national frontiers wherever this Force has been deployed.The Governor wished a successful tenure to Brig. Chavan.
