Lambasts BJP for stalling UPA envisaged hospitals,Demands autonomous AIIMS for Jammu

Congress today alleged that BJP was befooling the people of state on the name of providing AIIMS like facility in twin capitals of the state and called it an yet another “humiliation” for  the common man.Calling the situation as an agrieved, Salman Nizami Organising and Media Publicity Secretary of PCC said, “BJP leadership should know that the two Medical colleges of the state have been already upgraded on the pattern of AIIMS by the previous government, the need of the hour is to establish independent AIIMS with all the medi-care facilities.”“Earlier there was only one hospital which was upgraded on the pattern of AIIMS I.e GMC Jammu later named as (Super Speciality Hospital). Ghulam Nabi Azad soon after becoming CM, he got another super speciality hospital sanctioned project for GMC Sinagar in PMSSY Phase 2nd,” he said.

He alleged that the BJP has miserably failed both in state as well as in centre. Nizami accused BJP of playing “dirty politics” with the sentiments of people of state in general and Jammu people in particular.“Fake claims of BJP have sprinkled salt on the wounds of people, and could take any ugly shape, for which only and only BJP leaders would be responsible,” he claimed.While demanding the autonomous, full fledged AIIMS for both the regions of Jammu and Kashmir, he said that AIIMS with all the medi-care facilities be established at Jammu and Srinagar taking the aspirations of common people in consideration.
