Deputy Chairman, Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Council, Javed Ahmed Rana conducted a series of public meeting at various areas of Rajouri and Poonch during his visit to the twin districts.The Deputy Chairman listened to the public grievances and demands of the people at Purkarni, Doongi, Lam block Panjal Galla, Dara Samwala, Basilichalass, Pir Badasir Dargloon and other areas of Medhar.Speaking on the occasion, Mr Javed said that Omar led government is according focused attention on development of rural and border areas of the State. The government is laying special focus on timely and quality completion of R&B and PHE projects, besides opening of Anganwari centres and upgradation of schools, he added.The Deputy Chairman said that matter of strengthening of health centres in these villages would be taken up with the concerned. Besides, provision of an ambulance for these villages would also be looked into.Ealier, on his arrival Sarpanches, Panches and large number of people welcomed the Deputy Chairman and raised slogans in his favour on the occasion.
