Bike lifter arrested by Handwara police

Handwara police today arrested a bike lifter and recovered a stolen bike from his possession.On  27 July this year, a person namely Reyaz Ahmad resident of Lachipora made his complaint in Police station Handwara that unknown persons stole his bike bearing registration number JK09 0310. In this regard, Handwara police registered a case under FIR number 189/2015 under section 379 RPC and started  investigation.Today on a specific information, the investigating team of Handwara police took drive against the bike lifters and arrested Ajaz Ahmad Darzi resident of Khos Mohallah, Handwara and on his instance the stolen bike has been recovered. Further investigation is going on.
