Lays foundation stone of 100 bedded Sub District Hospital at Gandoh

After laying the foundation stone of 100 bedded Sub District Hospital Gandoh, Union Minister for Health and Family welfare, Ghulam Nabi Azad Friday said that mutual love and peaceful coexistence between various communities is basic key to development. He lauded the people of the region for maintaining communal harmony and peace in the area.  He cautioned the masses against pisive forces and to defeat their nefarious designs.While highlighting major developmental initiatives taken by the collation government for the overall development of the people of the Chenab region, Mr Azad said upliftment of common people and providing them basic amenities in Health, Education and Road sector have received special focus. He said in due course of time more Hospitals will be established in the Chenab region adding that under the flagship NHM programme, Doctors serving in rural areas will get enhanced salary of Rs. 55000 that will serve as incentive for them to work in these areas.

While speaking on the occasion Minister of State for Health, Mr. Shabir Ahmed Khan thanked the Union Minister for his concern and commitment towards the upliftment of common masses. He appreciated Mr. Azad for granting approval for implementation of Rashtriya Bal Swasytha Yojna in all the Districts of the J&K State.Ch. Lal Singh, MP Kathua-Udhampur-Doda and Mohd Sharief Naiz MLA Bhaderwah also spoke on the occasion.Earlier Mr. Azad also visited Bonjwah area and held a public rally there.MLA Inderwal, G. M Saroori welcomed the Minister there and apprised him of the various demands and concerns of people of the area.Azad while speaking their assured the people that the basic needs of drinking water and health will be provided to them and in near future a 10 bedded hospital is in offing for the region. A large number if people were present there to welcome the Minister.
