22 Senior Police Officers Transferred

The Punjab Government today issued transfer orders of  22 Senior Police officers including Commissioners of Police Jalandhar & Ludhiana, IGPs, DIGs, SSPs and DCPs. Ram Singh IPS Commissioner of Police Jalandhar has been posted as IGP Traffic Punjab, Chandigarh, Ishwar Singh IPS has been posted as Commissioner of Police Jalandhar, Paramjit Singh Gill Commissioner of Police of Ludhiana goes as IGP/Zonal I Punjab, Patiala, Nirmal Singh Dhillon IGP Bathinda posted as Commissioner of Police Ludhiana.

Similarly, Paramraj Singh Umaranangal, IPS has been posted as IGP Bathinda, Balbir Kumar Bawa goes as IGP/Zonal II Pb, Jalandhar, Tejinder Pal Singh as IGP/IVC, Pb. Chandigarh, Surinder Singh as IGP/EOW Crime, Pb., Chandigarh, Rakesh Chandra as IGP/Law & Order, Pb. Chandigarh, Jaskaran Singh as DIG/Crime Pb. Chandigarh and Yurinder Singh has been posted as DIG/Ferozepur Range, Ferozepur. 

Besides this, SSP Bathinda Ravcharan Singh Brar has been posted as SSP Ropar, Indermohan Singh SSP Ropar goes as SSP S.A.S. Nagar, Gurpreet Singh Bhullar SSP SAS Nagar shifted as SSP Bathinda, Bhupinder Singh PPS goes as SSP Mansa in place of Narinder Bhargava who has been shifted as SSP/Hoshiarpur, Jaspreet Singh Sidhu PPS has been given the charge as SSP Jalandhar, Bikram Pal Singh Bhatty, IPS goes as DCP/Amritsar, Rahul S IPS as DCP/Jalandhar, Gupreet Singh Gill IPS posted as SSP Amritsar(Rural) and Varinderpal Singh AIG/FIU, Intelligence Pb., Chandigarh will be new SSP/Faridkot.IPS Sharad Satya Chauhan who is IGP/Traffic Pb. Chandigarh, his name has been included in the panel sent for posting as IGP/Investigation Lokpal, Pb. Chandigarh.
