Accountant General calls on Governor

Hoveyda Abbas, Accountant General (Audit), J&K, called on Governor N N Vohra, at the Raj Bhavan here today.Mr. Abbas briefed the Governor about the areas of State Government functioning which had been audited during 2013-14-15 and the continuing efforts towards the promotion of a transparent framework of policy, rules and regulations for encouraging efficiency and accountability in the entire administrative apparatus.The Governor discussed with Mr. Abbas about the need for all required steps being taken to secure the maintenance of financial probity and fiscal discipline in the entire governmental machinery.
