Delhi Police reunite 13 missing children with families

Thirteen children from different parts of the country and living in shelter homes here have been reunited with their families, Delhi Police said on Tuesday."Thirteen children aged between 12 and 16 years were united recently with their families," Joint Commissioner of Police Ravindra Yadav said."The children belong to Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and different places in Delhi," Yadav said.Delhi Police have till date reunited 155 children with their families under "Operation Milap", a special drive launched in 2014 by their Anti-Human Trafficking Unit to unite missing children with their families."Our officers would check each and every missing child across various children shelter homes, railway stations and other places. We would undertake all possible efforts to get clues about their parents so that they are reunited with their families," he said.Yadav said most of the children left their homes on their own in search of job or for other reasons.
