MLA, DC hold grievance redressal camps at Loran, Mandi

To hear and redress public grievances, Member Legislative Assembly, Haveli Poonch, Shah Mohammad Tantray and Deputy Commissioner Poonch, Nisar Ahmed Wani along with several district officers conducted an extensive tour of Loran and Mandi areas and held public darbars. Sarpanchs and Panchs, officers and locals were also present and several developmental issues and other grievances of these areas were raised pertaining to water and power supply, availability of ration and cooking gas, repairing of roads, restoration of 132 KVA transmission line etc.

Speaking on the occasion MLA Haveli said the present dispensation is committed to deliver quality public service to the people and urged the officers to perform their duty with utmost honesty and dedication and solve the problems of people on priority. He asked the officers to come up to the expectations of people by ensuring efficient public service.Responding to the concerns and demands of the people, the Deputy Commissioner assured that all their grievances will be addressed and genuine demands met. Wani assured the people that all issues raised in the darbar will be addressed on priority basis.Later, the Deputy Commissioner also visited Budha Amarnath temple at Mandi to review the preparations for ensuing Budha Amarnathji yatra commencing on August 17.
